“Live for the Moment” using the Indigo Mist Collection (Rosie’s Studio)

Image
I was so happy to receive  Rosie’s Studio’s beautiful “Indigo Mist” collection. I just fell in love with this collection the moment I saw it and immediately placed my order. It is just gorgeous and the colors are just perfect to my taste. Below is a the first layout I’ve made with the collection, and it seemed to just fall into place without much effort.  The main background paper is lovely by itself and the butterflies add the perfect touch.     I am so happy with the final layout!   Thank you so much for visiting my page, and I would love it if you would leave a comment  and subscribe to my blog. I am so excited to finally be submitting another entry into my blog. Can you tell from my blog title that I'm super excited?  Huh????  Can you???  I have found so many YouTube videos, new scrapping super stars, ie Adelle Toomey from Inkie Quill and her new FB group Scrapaholics Anonymous (that's 6 stars), and some fun kits to check out.  Oh, so much scrappy goodness!  Ok, take a deep breath and take it one step at a time. I recently discovered Felicity Jane kits (thanks, Jennifer Cook Schow). Here is a layout I recently completed of my daughters using the Felicity Jane kit for May. These kits are just beautiful and are packaged with great care and thought. Many of the items used in packaging your kits can be used for other things. The black and white stripes behind the photo is actually a bag that held some of my goodies during shipping. Thank you, Felicity Jane, for all the inspiration enclosed in your cute black and white striped boxes. I am so exci...

For this I am thankful!

I  have so much for which to be thankful.  I am thankful for my faith, my family, and my best friend whom I've been married to for 40 years.  One of the items on my list of things I was challenging myself to do this year was to start a blog.  I love scrapbooking, and I felt this was a great way to share my layouts and connect with others in the scrapping world.  One of the other items on my New Year's list was to post one of my projects on Two Peas in a Bucket www. twopeasinabucket.com  I posted photos of a mini album titled "Oh, Darling Mini Album I made for my youngest daughter's birthday (inspired by Jennifer Gallacher who is a Garden Girl).  I hope this blog is something that you will enjoy visiting and will be able to find inspiration.  Let me know what you think!
